Creative Project

Are you a current or aspiring Illustrator, Graphic Designer, Photographer or Videographer? Would
you like your work featured in the BHM magazine and on the BSWN website?

We are looking for engaging, innovative and high-quality creative content around the themes of education,
heritage, talent, knowledge and race for this year’s BHM magazine. This will be an opportunity to have your work promoted, featured in this year’s magazine and across Bristol Black History Month and BSWN social media channels.

Advert

Are you a Business owner or entrepreneur? By providing culturally relevant marketing to Black
communities in the South West, we are putting businesses in touch with new and relevant
members of their target audience. We are reaching out to Black-owned businesses and
organisations to extend an offer for advertising in our magazine, with all submissions and
advertisements due by 20th August 2021. Space is limited so it’s encouraged to submit as soon
as possible.

You can find our page dimensions in the media pack above. By advertising in the
magazine you will support young people to gain work experience, explore alternative routes to
higher education and improve their soft skills.

Advertisement Redesign: What we need from you Please only fill in parts of this section
that are relevant to you, depending on whether you would like an advert designed for your
business by our in-house design team or not

Event

Do you have some upcoming cultural events that empower Black communities? We’re on a
mission to ensure that we celebrate Black History Month throughout the year and
encourage as many people as possible to attend and engage with the cause, open
discussions and to connect musically. If you are planning an event which falls between 1st
October and 31st October 2021, submit your event information for a chance to be featured
in our magazine or across our social media channels.
